The Unofficial "Myspace" Guide

Alright, listen up! Welcome to DameDaNeSpace.com and it's uses! You can meet new people on the internet or find old ones from Windows 93! This clone is one of the greatest plain Win93 recreations!

Create an account

Arguably the most important step. On the top right of your screen, you'll see a sign up option. Enter the information it requires to create an account. Once you submit, you should have an email asking you to confirm your sign up. Click the link and it should ask you to log in.

(If you cannot find an email, look in your spam or wait up to 30 minutes. If nothing appears, contact the owner of the website [not me])

Customize

Now you get to choose what people know about you! Enter your country, age, status, who'd you like to meet, interests, and even add a song that plays whenever someone visits! Of course, you can leave anything you don't want to enter in blank if the government is after you. REMEMBER THAT EVERYTHING IS PUBLIC AND THERE ARE NO PRIVATE ACCOUNTS!

Friends

Now for the social aspect of the media! You can check for users by either clicking online, all, friends, random, or search! Online displays all currently online users. All shows every user on the site. Friends will show how many friends you have (don't be concerned if you have 1 when you start!). Random will show a random user. Search will let you find users by their username.

When you're on their profile, don't get intimidated on all of the CSS (Cascading Style Sheets; coding language) on their page! Every user can have their own page, so there's never knowing what you can do! When you're strangers with another user, you have 4 options. You can friend them, message them, block them, or report them!

When you friend someone, you'll send a request over to them! If they accept it, you can now interact with them! Messaging them will send them a private DM! Of course, remember to follow the rules, because the owner can obviously see them. If you block someone, they aren't allowed to interact with your page in any way. Reporting a user will send a note to the owner that this user is misbehaving. DO NOT ABUSE IT!

You can also comment on a friend's page or blog. When you comment on a page, the user (depending on their settings) can approve it to appear on their page. You won't get notified if they approve it, however. Be sure to check on your friend's page often to see how it changes!

Notifications

After interacting with a few people, you may see flashing text at the top of your screen. Don't worry! It's not a bomb! You could be receiving a notification due to new friends, a friend request, new comments or new mail.
