The side of Video games made to rot you.

I'm pretty sure most people reading this know about the concept of grind in video games.

Specially in 2022, with the Game Elden Ring, and also a slight older game Jump King, and even older titles.
Games Well known for making you spend a long amount of time "grinding" to get items and advance in a single player game.

You're grinding yourself away, not the game.

Not ignoring the fact that GTA Online is a perfect example of games requiring the "player" not only to waste hours and hours on a mere game, and not only is money draining, there is 0 earning with the exception of streamers and tube-sites people.

Are you telling me people are OK with spending 8 extra hours of their life outside work in these "games" ?
People don't even hang-out with friends AND play... They PLAY WITH friends. Focus on the game.

I will ignore the fact that other "games" like League of Legends make you frustrated while playing it, aren't games suppose to be fun?
Frustration and Anger impact both your mental and physical health.

I've read time and time again that 80% of the population makes a higher amount of worse decisions that the other 20%.
I wonder if that's nature or its the result of a crafted non-thoughtful education and activities...

After all, neither school nor these video games teach you anything useful for yourself.
Heck, the purpose of school is to make you a worker, not a thinker, Check Rockefeller's quote about a Nation of workers.
There's a much deeper education besides the defined subjects, and these games mentioned are a part of the bunch that push the concept of making you focus on the useless entertainment addiction outside work.

I'm getting out of topic though.

Regardless of that. It's as if, at some point, entrepreneurs including game developers, when they get big they get induced, or pushed to follow this business of stupidification in the name of profit.
