The State Testing Blog (Edited)
Hi guys! It's 9:15 AM for me today and right now I'm getting ready for a state test at 9:30. Obviously, I'm not too excited since I feel like this test is a waste of time but it's a graduation requirement and I also know I can do well on this exam so I'm not complaining. I know that there are better ways to measure our intelligence but until the goverment and the state I live in figure that out, we have to use this antiquated process of seeing how smart someone is. The person I'm sitting next to is playing 8 ball as I type this and I'm slowly getting frustrated at my keyboard because I have to delete what I've typed since I keep misspelling my words. I'm gonna have to go soon so wish me luck. Don't worry, I'm gonna update this post whenever I get my phone back because it is quite the process and I have to wait until everybody is finished and our tests are approved. Bye Bye!

Hi guys! I’m back. So, I did pretty good on the test but there was a power outage at my school so I had to start the test at 10:19 AM. For some context, I start school at 9 AM and that was like 1 hour and 19 minutes after school started. The prompt for my essay during the test was to explain the best way to achieve a goal so I typed about how you needed to plan out the steps needed to accomplish this goal. I know it might seem like I wrote a basic essay but I was kind of tired at 11 AM and it was the first thing that came to mind. As for multiple choice, the questions I had to answer for revising and editing as well as reading passages were very simple so I finished the test in 2 hours at 12:43 PM. The problem is that I was so bored during my free time. I couldn’t pick up my phone to post this so I waited until I had free time. Also, by the time we were all done with the test, I had forgotten that I made this post so I didn’t update this while I was in school. Also, I just want to point this out but during lunch break, we had the worst lunch I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously, it was just tiny round pieces of ham, little cubes of cheese, some Kelloggs emoji crackers, and those strawberry Nutri-Grain bars as well as either oranges or carrots. Lunch started at 1:10 and I finished at 1:34, 6 minutes before the test had to resume. After that, there was about five of us in the room including me that were already done with the test and patiently waiting for the rest of our peers to finish. I got bored after writing in my diary about the test so I tried to go to sleep but the kid next to me would move the table and cause it to make noise so it was impossible to go to sleep. Eventually though, I just stared at the wall and occasionally move my sleeve to use my Apple Watch which I wasn’t supposed to have but I kept so I could check the time. Don’t worry guys. I made sure of the teachers didn’t notice me checking my watch. Anyways, that was all that happened while I took the test. I hope you guys like this and I’ll see you all tomorrow with an interesting blog. Bye Bye!
