My Cousin's Quinceañera

Hi guys. My cousin turned 15 yesterday and went through the tradition of having a quinceañera which means going to a church ceremony and hosting an expensive party at an events center. At the church ceremony, we got there late and the pastor was talking about how teens are being corrupted by all these things that are inappropriate like parties where teens make bad choices, sleepovers, and talking about the lgbtq+ community. I know it's my cousin's big day but the lgbtq+ community deserves better than being called inappropriate. Anyways, my cousin then had to make a promise to god and say thank you to him for being created by him. I was actually thinking to myself about how lucky I am to not be doing this myself when I turn 15. After that, we were all told to leave so they could disinfect the church and we were all standing outside talking which was making me impatient to leave so I logged on to see if anyone had said anything cool or if people were just inactive. Unfortunately, wearing boots meant that my feet were already killing me. Seriously, it felt like having to step on shoes made with the rocks and pebbles from the small tub where you put your feet into when you're at the spa. We went to my aunt's house and ate before going to my house so we could get ready for to party. At the party, everybody was dancing and having a generally good time. We ate some food there which was rice and beans with this other thing. Idk if it was chicken or meat but it was drenched in some sauce that makes it spicier. I got bored so I took out my PSP to play some games and I was also using my phone after I got bored of playing those games. My cousin danced in the traditional waltz and did her surprise dance where she was zapateando which is kind of like tap dancing but not really and it's even more cooler. Then, I went to bathroom and everybody got glowsticks. The lights were also flashing a lot and it was kind of blinding so I tried to not look at them. The problem with the glowsticks is that they don't have those little plastic rings that you can use to stick them together to make necklaces and bracelets out of them so all we can do is hold them in our hands. My dad kept trying to get me to dance but I didn't want to. Anyways, I'm going off topic so I'm gonna talk about the glowstick colors. I got blue and purple which is sad because I like the classic neon green a lot. Everybody kept dancing and then they did that one coreographed song that involves moving to the right so my parents immediately returned which is probably for the best since a lot of millennials and teens were dancing which would make my Gen X parents dancing be kinda awkward. The party ended at 1:11 AM but people were still talking for a while. Things got intense though with some of the party guests and local law enforcement came to shut down the party since it was getting late and also to keep things from escalating so we all got kicked out but I'm still here while my parents help with cleaning up. This party was pretty boring but also not really since interesting stuff happened. Hopefully, I'm not breaking any rules here by sharing that last bit on why we got kicked out. I have to go since my phone's at 20 percent and we're leaving soon. Bye Bye!
P.S. The room in the events center smells kinda bad after the party and I want to be in bed right now. Also, it's 1:33 AM already and law enforcement hasn't left the room yet and they aren't even helping us clean up so we can leave faster which makes me kinda mad since they're probably annoyed because we're still here which makes me mad because they could probably help us get the job done faster so we can all leave instead of just standing there gossiping about work as police officers and life

Wow that party seems like it was awesome at the end when you all went home but it also seems like it very uninteresting when the waltz happened. Also, I wish I could have gone because of everything you mentioned like the stuff the pastor said, the waltz, free glowsticks, and leaving at 1 AM. I hope you arrived home safely. Bye!
