Adoring Baby Jesus

Hello Readers. Today is a good day for my mom because we're adoring the image of Baby Jesus in the form of dolls. Now, you might be asking yourselves why I'm doing this and I'm about to explain why. You see, on Christmas Eve, the figure of the Christ child is laid into the Nativity scene in a celebration which is done in the home. This event is called “putting the child to bed.” The figure is carried by one or more of the young women, although anyone can do it nowadays, while the rest of the family sings lullabies or other children's and/or Christmas songs. Each member of the family kisses the image as they sing. The figure is laid in the manger, where it stays until the second of February although it does not have to be done on this day. When you pray again, it is a symbolic represenation of when Jesus was brought onto the temple. My mom is currently stressing out like crazy and she kind of reminds me of Pepa from Encanto. Now, I'm going to explain what I had to do so far. So, I got home from school and picked up all the mail on the coffee table so I could put it somewhere else. Then, I left with my mom to replace the dress for our giant doll because the back wouldn’t close and you could see the feet. The issue is that the giant baby dresses like a 3 year old so we ended buying baptism clothes for 3 year olds. When we got back, I was tasked with cleaning up the house while my mom continued cooking. My dad also helped me with getting the sodas and waters from the trunk of our car. I then stayed in my room trying to type out my blog and clean up the room but we left to get trays to put the chocolates and the clothes on so I lost the old draft to this blog. Anyways, I tried to recover it but it was no use so here’s blog entry 2.0.
(Edited at 12:04 AM)
Hello. As you can see, I just got done with the whole prayer thing. However, everyone left our house and my uncle borrowed our truck so we had to take him home. Yeah, let’s just say that I’m really not liking the cold air. The good thing is that I left wrapped up in a warm blanket so I don’t feel it as much. Anyways, I think I have a problematic obsession with listening to Saint Motel. They’re my new favorite group ever since I heard Cold Cold Man and Move. I started to dive deeper into their songs and now I’m a huge fan of their songs. That’s all I have to say for today. Bye Bye!
P.S. I’m not tired just yet
